Getting to Scilly

Scilly can be reached by aeroplane, helicopter or passenger ferry. 

 

Helicopter

British International operate a helicopter service to Scilly from Penzance.  The helicopters fly out over the most south-westerly point of England to both St. Mary's and Tresco.  The flight time is approximately 20 minutes.

 

Skybus

Isles of Scilly Travel operates Skybus flights to St. Mary's from Lands End, Newquay, Exeter, Bristol and Southampton.  Flight times vary according to route.  Follow the Skybus link to Isles of Scilly Travel for full details of routes, timetables and fares.

 

Scillonian III

Scillonian III is a passenger ferry that sails between Penzance and St. Mary's between the beginning of April and the end of October.   The sailing time is approximately 2 hours 40 minutes.  Sailing frequency and times can vary according to season, weather conditions and tides but full details of timetables and fares can be found on the Isles of Scilly Travel website by following this Scillonian link.
